  2. We are rated OUTSTANDING for children’s behaviour and attitude by Ofsted in May 2021, with an overall GOOD judgment.
     

  3. We have a qualified toddler yoga teacher who delivers weekly yoga activities with the children.
     

  4. The government requires a minimum of 50% of nursery staff to hold a childcare qualification; 90% of our staff are fully qualified.
     

  5. All staff hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
     

  6. We have a large car park area for parents; making drop-off and pick-up very easy.
     

  7. Our location, alongside the Tesco Superstore, is very convenient for parents’ and carers’ shopping.
     

  8. The nursery has a secluded soft matted outside play area offering different areas for the children to explore outdoor learning opportunities.
     

  9. Extra curriculum activity 'Aldance' themed dance classes offered on a Thursday with a showcase each term.
     

  10. FREE daily soft play supporting children’s physical development.
     

  11. FREE Toddler Yoga sessions to support children’s well-
    being.

     

  12. Each child is treated as an individual and we plan activities according to each their individual needs and interests.
     

  13. Our activities include nature walks in the garden, looking after the flowers/vegetables and enjoying the library area. We offer an annual summer outing and a sports day. We also offer special assemblies for parents and carers to attend throughout the year. 
     

  14. We work closely with Tesco where children learn where their food comes from and about healthy food choices.
     

  15. We hold termly parents’ focus meetings where parents and carers can meet with their child’s Key Person to discuss their progress and development. We work in partnership with parents to plan your child’s next steps of learning.
     

  16. We have an open door policy allowing parents and carers to visit at any time during the nursery session.
     

  17. We hold a 5* food hygiene award and a gold award for healthy eating. 
     

  18. Snacks are prepared freshly every day and we encourage the children to eat healthily. We support each individual child to be involved in their own food preparation.
     

  19. The Nursery Manager holds termly coffee mornings, where parents and carers can meet to make new friends and discuss what their children are doing.
     

  20. We provide opportunities for parents and carers to take part in activities in the nursery and to help with outings and fund raising.
